Courtney Craft
Courtney began her active lifestyle at the age of four years old when she started playing soccer. From then on she was involved in multiple sports ranging from basketball to cross country, softball to track, but chose soccer to be her year round sport until the age of 19. Her soccer career ended when she suffered an avulsion fracture to her hip, but instead of succumbing to the sedentary lifestyle of her crushed dream, she instead found the love of CrossTraining. While attending Western Washington University she studied the science behind how the body functioned during physical activity and became more involved in the CrossTraining community through coaching small group classes of all ages and athletic abilities. Courtney believes that physical activity should be available to everybody no matter the skill level or experience. Courtney is currently studying physical therapy at the University of Washington where she is able to combine both passions into safe, functional, effective movements in her training programs. Outside of school and her CrossTraining gym, she enjoys exploring the beautiful Washington hiking trails, spending time with family, and supporting Seattle soccer (Go Sounders and Reign)!
